Farmer vs. consumer: a bridge to build

Wilhelm Kremer-Schillings, better known as Bauer Willi, is an agricultural engineer who is not limited to theory: he runs a 40-hectare farm with sugar beet, rapeseed and cereal crops in the Rhineland. Open, honest and far from ideologies, he is also and above all a blogger with a precise mission: to build a bridge between farmers and consumers and resolve, once and for all, the many misunderstandings that characterise their relationship.

The Interpoma Congress 2020, this year as part of Interpoma Connects Digital Days for the Apple Economy and with its brand new coordinator Gerhard Dichgans, could not miss it: on Thursday 19 November 2020 Bauer Willi will be the keynote speaker of the first day of the International Congress dedicated to the apple industry, with a speech entitled "Grower versus Consumer: more courage for an open dialogue".

While waiting for his speech, for the first time also available in livestream for all those who will not be physically present in Bolzano, Dichgans interviewed him in preview for all Interpoma friends.

How can the pro quo between farmer, citizen and consumer be resolved and clarified? Is it possible to spend little and buy quality products? What is the role of the farmer in the process of information and influence of politics and the consumer?

Curious to find out Bauer Willi's answers to these and many other questions? Watch the full video below!
