IP fruit farm Manfred Ladurner in Goldrain/Coldrano

On our tour through the Vinschgau/Val Venosta, we will visit the fruit farm of Manfred Ladurner and his family in Goldrain/Coldrano. He started experimenting with varieties and planting new ones early on. Today, Ladurner produces different varieties on his total of 4.5 hectares of orchards in the valley.

Texel Fruit Cooperative (VIP) in Naturns/Naturno

TEXEL is one of seven fruit cooperatives in Val Venosta, united under the VIP (Association of Val Venosta producers of fruit and vegetables) umbrella. The TEXEL in Naturno is technically state-of-the-art, as evidenced by our tour: in recent years, several renovation projects have been carried out, such as the expansion of the palletizing hall, the addition of a packaging warehouse, and the construction of a new finished pallet warehouse. Since 2013, TEXEL has had an automated high-rack warehouse, which makes all stored varieties – sorted by color and size – available at any time through a computer-controlled system.

Where: departure by bus from Piazza Fiera at 1:30pm and return at 5:00pm.
