The hidden home of the apples
Inside the Dolomite caves of Rio Maggiore Mine, the tour is going to take us to discover the first and only installation in the world for the refrigerated storage of fruit in a hypogeal environment (i.e. underground) and under controlled atmosphere conditions, at a constant temperature in all seasons.
We are talking about a natural refrigerator hidden inside the Dolomites, an eco-friendly system that keeps the quality of the apples intact.
When: Friday, 22nd November
Where: departure by bus from Piazza Fiera at 1:30pm and return at 5:00pm.
How: Participation fee € 110, with online ticket to be shown at the time of departure
