Ben Schneider cultiavtes a great passion for food and always wanted to explore this world in a holistic way. His journey began during his training as a chef in German fine dining industry at the Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe, under the guidance of Lothar Eiermann, a co-founder of Nouvelle Cuisine in Germany.

His career path took him from a junior cook to head chef in Austria, Norway, Southeast Asia, and South Tyrol. Here, he worked in various kitchens, from fine dining establishments to family hotels with half-board service. In 2015, he successfully completed his training as a master chef in South Tyrol.

Ben decided to continue his education and completed a Bachelor's degree in "Food Management" at the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf. The coursework included agriculture, food technology, food processing, and food marketing.

Since 2013, Ben has been working for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano - South Tyrol. His main activity involves innovation consulting and support for SMEs in research and development projects in the food sector. Initially, he was responsible for the strategic development of the Ecosystem Food. Later, at the NOI Techpark, he took on the responsibility for the food technology field, its governance and specialization strategy, as well as the Kitchen Lab, a test kitchen for product development. Currently, he heads the Food Prototyping & Experience area at the NOI Techpark, where he oversees projects in culinary place- and brand-making.
