Innovation, guest experience, and networking: Philip Ibrahim is a passionate host. Since October 2019, he has been responsible for the opening and launch of “The Student Hotel,” a concept dedicated to a community of students, urban explorers, and locals in an inspiring place in Berlin. The name was rebranded to “The Social Hub” in October 2022.

Originally from Baden-Württemberg, Ibrahim discovered his passion for hospitality during his civilian service in a youth hostel. After training at Accorhotels and gaining international experience, including an assignment in Chad with Kempinski, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a hotel director at the Mercure Hotel Berlin City.
