Stefan Mahlknecht is known as host at Hotel Der Waldhof as well as an
award-winning outdoor photographer.
During his tourism studies in Innsbruck, he began to make his passion for photography a profession. Until today, he worked with various outdoor brands, focussing on capturing international extreme sports athletes. In 2020, he began to work full-time in his family's Hotel Der Waldhof, a sustainable hideway nestled in the mountains near merano. He combines his passions for hospitality, sustainability and arts during his daily work at the hotel and pursues his career as an outdoor photographer during the winter months.
