Interpoma Press Release

The virtual matchmaking platform that connects the international apple economy

Interpoma Connects, the new Digital Days for the Apple Economy on November 19 and 20, is much more than a two-day series of digital events dedicated to the international sector. It is also an opportunity to connect to the global industry by participating in the Interpoma Business Match, a virtual matchmaking event organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano and EEN Enterprise Europe Network.

Due to the global Covid crisis also the international apple economy, like many other sectors, is going digital. In this context, the Fiera Bolzano Exhibition Center is launching the first ever Interpoma Business Match, a two-day virtual matchmaking event for the entire industry.

This exclusive matchmaking event, scheduled for November 19th and 20th, is going to allow the industry operators to get in touch with potential exhibitors, suppliers and business partners. The initiative, completely free of cost for all participants, is promoted in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano and EEN Enterprise Europe Network. More than just a simple platform, it is an important opportunity to network internationally, sell products and services, and discover innovative solutions along the whole supply chain. The registered companies range from traditional and organic production, equipment and machinery, measurement control systems, data processing and software, storage and logistics, fertilizers, supply for nurseries all the way up to business consulting.

The Interpoma Business Match also allows for all participating companies to present new products as well as product previews in an online marketplace. Each participant has its own virtual space where he can upload multimedia content, text and images, being able to present them in a series of virtual business meetings to potential clients. These virtual business meetings, which are scheduled directly through the online platform and can last up to 20 minutes, are strictly reserved for a B2B audience. Apart from the participating companies, the main targets are apple producers, buyers and importers, dealers of agricultural equipment, scientific and research institutes as well as start-ups in the agricultural sector.

"We had to postpone the trade show Interpoma to 2021 - explains Thomas Mur, Director of the Fiera Bolzano exhibition center – The apple economy, however, cannot and must not stop: that is why we are proud to be hosting Interpoma Connects this year, and to announce the launch of the Interpoma Business Match, a digital platform of great potential, which strives to bring together the most important international players of the apple economy. This initiative underlines our commitment to the sector, which is undoubtedly one of the strongest of our territory."

Registrations are already open and are going to close on November 18. From the moment of registration, each participant can immediately upload material and information, making it visible to all users in the "Participants" and "Marketplace" sections. The "Agenda" section subsequently allows scheduling appointments among all participants, which are going to take place on 19 and 20 November. So far, over 100 companies and industry operators from 25 countries have registered for the Interpoma Business Match and are already published under https://interpoma-business-match-2020.b2match.io/
