- Angela Bearth has a degree in Psychology from the University of Zurich and has a PhD in Risk Research. For several years, she worked as senior scientist at the Consumer Behavior group (ETH Zurich, Federal Institute of Technology) and at the Swiss Centre for Applied Human Toxicology (SCAHT, University of Basel). In her current position, she acts as Co-CEO and partner in her own consulting, research and development company HF Partners.
- Angela’s areas of expertise are stakeholder engagement, risk communication and judgment and decision-making regarding chemical risks and technology (e.g., new genomic techniques in plant breeding, pesticide use in agriculture).
- She is president-elect of the Society for Risk Analysis Europe (SRA-E) and vice-president of the Forum for Genetic Research (Swiss Academies of Sciences SCNAT).
