Participating start-ups are companies based in the European Union, founded in 2017 at the earliest and whose main activity is strongly characterised by innovative elements.

The Klimahouse Prize in the Startup category is open to all startups active in the fields of construction, energy, services, It (information technology) and IoT (Internet of Things), provided they are related to the field of construction, renovation and energy efficiency of buildings.

Each selected startup will be provided free of charge (accommodation and meals will be at the participant's expense):

• a personalised desk in the Klimahouse Future Hub, which includes exhibition space, 2 stools, personalisation of the desk with the company name, a power socket, Wi-Fi, 1 parking pass and cleaning of the common areas;
• 20 invitation vouchers for clients and prospective clients;
• inclusion in exhibitor catalogue with logo and product in online product catalogue;
• web promo kit;
• visibility during the fair: Pitch on stage at the Klimahouse Innovation Forum, opportunity to meet the press, opportunity to participate in all Klimahouse 2022 events.

Applications must be submitted by 11pm on 18 December 2022.

By 31 December 2022, a jury of experts will select the 10 startups that will exhibit their services and products in Bolzano from 8 to 11 March 2023 at the Klimahouse Future Hub in the exhibition halls.

During the application phase, the start-ups are explicitly requested to be available as stand attendants during the days of the event and, if selected as finalists, to be present at the semi-final and the final. Willingness to be present at the above events is a prerequisite for participation in the Final.
