Thomas Aichner 

The Alpine Brand Strategist 

Thomas began his career as a snowboard athlete, where he learned early on to combine athletic performance with self-marketing. At the age of 30, he began working in tourism marketing: first as a destination developer at SMG, then as director of the Merano Marketing Association, and finally as president and vice director of IDM South Tyrol. 


In search of new experiences, Thomas moved to Oberalp in 2018 and took over the international marketing management of the mountain sports brand Salewa. In 2025, he finally started his own business as a consultant for brand management and communication. In his private life, Thomas is regularly drawn to the mountains and the dance floor, where he finds inspiration between nature and swing music.
